About Icon Computer Services
 

Icon Computer Services is the trading name of Crystaldata Ltd. Crystaldata Ltd was established in 1989. Originally located in Neath, continued success in the supply of computer systems required larger premises and, in the year 2000, the company moved to their present location in Swansea Enterprise Park where we have space to continue to grow.

The directors have over 40 years combined experience at the highest levels in the I.T. Industry. This has enabled Icon Computer Services to achieve steady growth and very satisfied clients. Icon Computer Services provide I.T. services to a wide range of organisations, including small businesses, local government and large multinational organisations.

We have a passionate desire to achieve the right result for our clients. We offer approachable and cooperative teams dedicated to our clients needs. Ieuan Rees  
Ieuan Rees

Ieuan Rees is the founder and Managing Director of Crystaldata Ltd. Ieuan has worked in I.T. support since leaving college in 1988. In this time he has seen many changes in business practice and many improvements in I.T. technology and has gained a wide range of experience from hardware installation to project management.

Ieuan specialises in the support and management of large contracts for Local Government clients. Ieuan has extensive experience of Cisco Communications products and achieved CCNA accreditation in 2003. Ieuan also holds Microsoft MCSE accreditation. In March 2006, Ieuan successfully negotiated a contract with Neath and Port Talbot County Borough Council for Icon Computer Services to build and install 650 computers in 77 schools in 6 weeks. The contract was completed successfully and on-time and subsequent contracts have been awarded.

Ieuan has a solid history of achievement. The number of clients who repeatedly use his services demonstrates this.

 
Carl Summers  
Carl Summers

Carl Summers is a Director of Crystaldata Ltd. He has over 20 years experience in the I.T. industry with his career path evolving from database application development through to hardware maintenance and SME end-user support as a self-employed consultant.

As a result of his many different roles he has developed expertise in managing people, budgets and systems integration. His greatest strengths are his ability to translate customer requirements and needs into technology solutions. Carl is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and has built up an in-depth knowledge of various Desktop and Server Operating Systems as well as Application Servers including Exchange Server, SQL Server and CRM Server, and has installed and maintained various firewall appliances such as Cisco, Watchguard and Sonicwall.
